Greatfield Big Local is a community project in Hull, UK, dedicated to fostering a sense of community and happiness among Greatfield residents.

Through various initiatives, we aim to engage residents, showcase community projects, promote local events, and provide essential meeting details.

What we've done

Greatfield 60th party

In April 2011 £1,000,000 was announced for Greatfield from Big Lottery Funding. Initially the project was launched by Child Dynamix at St Stephen’s, with creation of a community hub, website and social networking page for residents to input their ideas to spend the money. Greatfield was one of the first 50 areas to benefit from the Big Local Trust programme.

Since then, many wonderful ideas from residents have resulted in engaging activities to improve the estate, increase wellbeing, reduce isolation and bring prosperity.
